Mid and Rear Motor Configuration Options
All parts needed for a mid- or rear-motor configuration are included in the kit. On higher-grip tracks, the mid-motor configuration lets you carry more speed in the corners, while making the car easier to drive. The rear-motor configuration makes driving on low to medium grip tracks easier by providing excellent balance and extra grip coming out of the turns.

Revised Front Suspension Geometry
Updated front caster blocks and spindles with less scrub off-set, 4mm of trail and a new outer camber link location transform the handling of this proven platform. You’ll enjoy the same amazing corner speeds of the first 22 buggy but with a much more balanced feel, front to rear, that makes this version easier to drive and more consistent. Revised bump steer geometry and an updated slider steering rack with Ackermann adjustment pushes this front end to all new limits.

Gen II 12mm Shocks
The 12mm big bore shocks from the original 22 buggy have been upgraded with machined components, TiCn-coated shock shafts and bleeder shock caps. X-Ring seals provide a low friction feel and eliminate oil leaks. Team Losi Racing Low Frequency Red and Yellow springs are included.

Optimized 22 Differential
The ball differential has been updated for better performance and longer life with tungsten carbide diff and thrust balls, larger OD diff rings with tumbled finish, heat treated thrust washers and a Gen II one-piece diff nut. Other updates include second operation outdrives with a flatter diff ring surface and a main diff gear with extra centering pins.

Included Option Parts
Many of the option parts that were available separately for the original 22 buggy are included with this version, making it virtually identical to what team drivers race in competition. You get aluminum ball stud spacers, aluminum clamping rear hexes, aluminum front pivot, aluminum rear camber block, 3.0 LRC rear toe plate, aluminum shock bleeder caps, low frequency springs, tungsten carbide diff and thrust balls, serrated wheel nuts, threaded king pins and threaded rear outer hinge pins.
Included Option Parts
22 2.0 Body and Wing
The 22 2.0 body has been updated for a more symmetrical fit, better clearance for the rear body clips and additional clearance for saddle packs. An all-new, 6.5” wide TLR Medium Downforce Rear Wing provides fantastic grip and stability in all conditions. It’s made from 1.2mm thick lexan for longer life and has raised end plates for extra tire clearance. Three scribe lines across the rear offer repeatable wickerbill trimming options.

HDS Slipper
The all new Heavy Duty Slipper (HDS) increases the surface area between the slipper backing plates and the slipper pad for increased slipper bite with a wider adjustment range and more consistencey. Includes two spur gears: 78T spur for modified racing classes and a 70T spur for SPEC class racing. The 70T spur diameter cannot accommodate the HDS slipper pad design, so the original 22 slipper pads are also included in the kit.

All-New Battery Mounting
Allows for secure battery mounting in both mid and rear motor configurations. The battery strap also maintains the battery foam securely in front of the battery pack for almost infinite adjustability of the weight balance by moving the battery pack front the rear.

Ti-Carbonitride Hinge Pin and Shock Shaft Coating
Ti-Carbonitride coating was introduce by Team Losi Racing on the 8ight 3.0 Buggy Kit and has proven to be a very smooth and even more reliable than Ti-Nitride. The 22 2.0 includes Ti-Carbonitride coating throughout, including the front and rear inner hinge pins, threaded kingpins, threaded outer rear hinge pins, and all four shock shafts.

Revised Slider Steering Rack
The innovative slider steering rack also receive improvements for the 22 2.0. The steering link ball studs are horizontal to the kick plane, rather than vertical on the original 22. This allows for Ackermann adjustments by adding or removing washers. The steering link ball studs are also 2mm higher and allow
